In its sixth year, SafetyFest of Southeastern New Mexico is a Safety and Health event to build awareness about hazards and accident prevention, and classes designed to prevent on the job injuries and fatalities. The conference will kick-off with expert speakers and discussions about safety issues and industry best practices. Classes will begin on October 30th, with classes emphasizing safety in the oil & gas, construction, general industry, transportation, mine safety and health industries, and will continue through October 31st. Vendors will also be on hand both days displaying safety and health products.
Expert Instruction! Instructors from New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs will provide expert instruction.
Tentative Classes — Distracted Driving, H2S Safety, Fall Suspension Trauma, 5 Essential Traits of a Leader/Ethics in the Workplace, Conversations Gone Haywire, The Power of Influence, OSHA Recordkeeping and more.
